Tom and I ahd originally planned on going to the breakfast provided by the park as part of SRM, but were far too exhausted form the heat, riding, driving, drinking, etc. of the day before. We slept in until around 10 am, and took a drive over to the grocery store for some more camp supplies (again beer and sausages).
After a great picnic lunch at camp, we headed over to the park at about 1:30 for a more laid back day at the park before the photo walk-back. The park was pretty crowded, but the Holiday World staff did an excellent job handling the crowds, and waits for the coasters weren't ever too long. We took a couple spins on Raven and Legend, and just sort of chilled for a while and people watched.
We really enjoyed the photo walk-back, and were able to get some really cool pictures of Raven and Lengend. Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future we will be able to post them.
We continued at our leisurely pace throughout the afternoon, and finally passed out for a couple minutes on some benches in the "smoker's lounge" before heading over to the picnic grounds for dinner. The insanity of the night before and the heat and humidity on Saturday were starting to take their toll, and we were in need of some rest.
After the dinner/graduation ceremony for Mrs. Koch, we felt pretty refreshed and began another night of insane rides on Legend and Raven. The second night of ERT seemed to go by rather quickly, and before we knew it we were on the final Legend ride of the night.
We headed back to campground for another night of beer and sausage, and finally passed out late into the night.
Highlight of the day: Seeing the flames from our grill lighting up the sky from across the campgrounds after ERT. After setting up the charcoal and dousing the coals with lighter fliud, I headed over to the bathroom to wash up a bit. Tom hadn't realized that I had already taken care of the lighter fluid part, and proceded to put more on the coals. Well, after getting doused twice in fluid, there aparently some sort of explosion when Tom lit the coals which I could cleary see when I came out of the bathroom.
