83 coasters and soon to be more
Life is a roller coaster Ride It!

So many coasters, so little vacation time....

Doesn't it seem as though morons always have the caps lock on?
The folks at Holiday World understand what it takes to make an event like this a memorable experience for all that attend. The fun doesn't stop until the event is over.

I couldn't have said it better myself!

Agreed... I'm tired as hell. Give us a day to recover.

I am so glad to hear others remarking how tired they are... I have spent all day recouperating.
It easily ranks as possibly one of the best times I have had since becoming an "enthusiast." It was the best of the three SRM's I have been to!
Very tired though! Spent all afternoon sleeping!
Shaggy
It was amazing... I hung out with Robert Coker all day Saturday and palled around with Mick Foley for about an hour last night.. rode the Legend and Raven with him. I cannot believe this was his first ACE event! Coker is a great guy... we are planning a trip together later this month to California...LOOK OUT CALI!!!
Also won a piece of the Legend signed by Mick, Pat Koch, and paula Werne... All in all.... the single best coaster event of the year HANDS DOWN!!!! The Legend was hella fast on Friday and the Raven was giving MAJOR airtime on Saturday. I got a chance to sit down with Pat and talked about what she thinks the park needs for the future.. She agreed with me that HW needs a good darkride. She told me "If you see Will, tell him that Pat is right and that we need a darkride STAT!" She also mentioned the possibility of a custom built carousel that she thought the park really needed as well. Zoombabwe was the single greatest raft waterslide in HISTORY! I even got airtime on it..Yes, I said airtime on a raft waterslide! I'm working on a full trip report and my photos should be developed in an hour or so. I will scan some of them to my Yahoo briefcase and link them in the report...
I leave you with this....

Think of it as a bonus cardio workout. Truly though, Zoombabwe is a lot of fun with four people in the raft. It really climbs the walls. Somehow, I ended up riding backwards every time we went on.-----------------

All 4 of my rides were facing backwards as well. Every time I was facing forward when my raft took off..... bery weird going down backwards the first time. The punched out figures were a wonderful "Holiday World" touch.

For the record, this wasn not strictly an "ACE event," but rather an event sponsored by the park and open to members of all clubs.
