Spy Kids 2(Trouble Maker Theme Park)

I just took my daughter to see Spy Kids 2. Its a cute movie with some decent effects in it.

Anyway, at the very beginning of the movie the presidents daughter visits "Trouble Maker Theme Park". She is escorted by a bunch of the Secret Service. During that scene they had a giant orange hyper which looked like Titan or Goliath. They also had a Mr Freeze and a B&M inverted which was yellow and black. I am going to assume this is SFOT. Am I right on this assumption?

The owner of the park showcases his new flat rides for the prez's daughter. These include the Vomiter and the Juggler. Some pretty funny stuff with the rides going at lightning speeds. Of course these rides were all computer generated but it was cool to watch. They also took one of those sky rides(Like Dare Devil Dive at SFGAm) and turned it into an intense flat ride with computer generated space age looking vehicles climbing the sky rides structure.

O.K. I am done rambling. Just thought I would point this out. If you have kids, than check this movie out.

Thankyou for listening to the latest installment of, "Chitown at the movies" :)

Ric Flair was hitting on the female host, he told her - "Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line." WOOOOO!

Yes, it is definitely SFOT. I have yet to see it, but I did see Titan in a trailer. Perhaps I should go and see this? Or just wait until DVD.

My two favorite coasters are named Superman.
Nitro, Gemini, Laser, Ice, Thunder...The American Gladiators!

If you want to see it just for the views of SFoT, there are probably some coaster-photo websites that give you the same thrill for free, and without wasting THAT much time. :)
Ya, the movie looks really cheazy, I would rather look at free pictures, than see a couple mins of a 8.25-9.00 movie and only enjoy the SFOT part.

Another shockingly disturbing one-liner from SFgadvMAN. Thanks for your input and keep up the thoughtful work!

I thought the movie was pretty good and I really don't mind watching "kid's" movies since some of them have been some of the best movies ever (Both Toy Story and Babe movies, The Lion King, Princess Mononoke*oh well, animated*, My Neighbor Totoro). SFOT was in the movie longer than I thought and there were good shots of it warped around, but still not worth going to the theatre only to see that.

The last movies I can think of that featured coasters were Not Another Teen Movie and Crazy/Beautiful both with segments filmed at Pacific Park in CA.

I saw that last night. That was definitely Goliath. Not 100% sure, but I'm 99.9999999% sure.

Take it up a notch, Mr. Operator! I wanna feel my brains in my feet!

It's possible it could be Goliath, but I highly doubt it since the park also showed SFOT's Batman The Ride and Mr. Freeze. It looked like Titan to me and several others have said that as well.

Did the coaster have a helix before the midcourse brake or no, helix then midcourse brake, Titan, midcourse brake, Goliath. That should settle it.

I just went and saw the movie, there's no doubt, that is SFOT! I went there on New Year's week, I saw that it was Titan! It had the helix before the midcourse, and Mr. Freeze and Batman the Ride! ;)

If you watch the film, just sit through the credits. They should give thanks to SFOT for being able to film there.

I remember some of the employees talking about it at the SFoT Coasternet forums. They said some employees got to be in the movie, but they had also hired some extras. They recorded it during a few weekdays when the park wasn't in daily operation.

That explains why none of the coasters were running.
