Speed!

Im doing a project on speed and I would liek some opinions of what my fellow coaster enthusits think about SPEED!
i think speed is good but on different types of coasters. speed is ok on woodies but it will usually be stopped by a hill or a trim. hypers are the best, but isnt that why they are built?!:) i hate speed on a coaster that has loops. If the speed is needed for a big inversion, its ok. I hate it when you get lots of speed for small inversions. Examples of this could be viper at sfmm, great american scream machine at sfgadv, and shockwave with those breaks after the first loops. I like alpengeist but the second part of the ride is horrible. that heartline is taken way too fast you dont even kno what happened. overall speed is good.
Speed is great... when I'm riding a coaster like Millennium Force or any coaster that was built for speed. The faster you go on those coasters, the better! On something like a wood coaster, faster isn't always better (Son of Beast).
Are you talking about Speed: The Ride or speed in general?

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
I love speed. It is great. I find nothing wrong with it at all.

Jack, who can't wait for opening day 2001...
Nothing wrong with speed, it generates intensity, and I don't care how rough it is.

What is life without geniuses?
I'm talking bout speed in general
Speed adds to the thrill.
Speed + Bunny Hops = Air Time!
Speed + Camel Humps = Gut Rencher.
Speed + Helix = Great Vertical G's!
Speed + Inversions = Horrible Vertical G's.

'Nuff said?
I always heard "speed kills" so i advise to stay away from it.
LOL. Only if you're driving car! And to think two centuries ago scientists said that to exceed 10mph or so was bad for your health. Yeah right.

I love speed which is why STE and Tower of Terror, Intamin's two 100mph Reverse Freefall coasters are in my top ten.
