Is there any land available in Miami? I thought that there is a shortage of large land parcels in Miami. How about a heavily themed hyper coaster loaded with airtime? A hyper is one of the very few coasters left that hasn't been built in FL.

There is plenty of land in Miami...particularly south of Miami. The question is: will they be willing to pay for it b/c land is like gold down here and it will cost them.

There have been plenty of groups that, at one time or another, have talked about building a full-fledged park down here but those talks usually lead to nowhere.

You must be talking about Homestead I would think. Isn't it in a particular bad spot for Hurricanes as opposed to the rest of FL? I think someone has mentioned that at one time.
