Spain at Busch Gardens

Hi my name is James and i love busch gardens williamsburg. i have been drawing a new country, Spain ihave the lay out, is like a big sea port. There magior atraction will be Journey to El Doraldo, it is a water coaster inside a mountain in the shape of a crocadile (similar to Grizzley Peak), the next thing is a show in a collisium, a bull show it is a dine and fight, you eat a meal and watch the bull show. The next attraction is called Cortez simulater adventure, it is  a big ship with a bunch of simulators inside you the visitor and other people (the crew) control everything its sort of like somthing at disney quest. The last attraction is El Toro, it is like Dr Dooms Fearfall two towers based under ground do a sequence of launches. List yor thoughts or suggestions please thanks!!!!

The two ideas you have would be more appropriate for a South American park...check your geography.

Doesn't it seem as though morons always have the caps lock on?
South America has bull fighting and collesiums? I thought that was Spain!?

Define "Bull Show", because if it is a live bull charging at a live man than you have problems. Too many risks envolved with that. Also, if 'Spain' did make an apperence @ BGW where would you put it? There isn't a sea to port in. You would have to make it close to the Rhine river, but isn't that space all gone?

.

about the bull show.... they will hire professionals, and about the space there is enough it is right next to the san marco bridge.
what about animal right concerns. while I know they have shows that include animals but not in that manner. in real bull fighitng we all knwo what happens and while it's a show and no harm is done ot the bull. it maybe too close for some. and yeah it would be dangerous period.

any how but right now BGW need sto figure out what they plan to do with that deserted clearing in the back filled with twisty blue steel.

All at once the ghosts come back reeling you in now.

I thought about a Spain theme too. How about a dueling woodie (perfect for BGW) called Running of the Bulls: Bull vs. Person?

GO CU! Big 12 Champs!
I like the idea of a spanish area at bgw but I dont know about your ride choices     How about the water coaster be named ARMADA as in the spanish armada instead and a woodie named CONQUISTADOR
I heard something about BGW adding a Spain themed section in the area where Drachen Fire currently stands.More than likely this won't happen any time soon however seeing as they just created the new Ireland section in 2001.

Better yet...a ride where you ride a bull past a winkin' blinkin' audio animatronic bullfighter.

Yah...El Dorado doesn't fit with Spain. Perhaps the "Flamenco Flyer" (Flyers) or "Madrid Madness" (car ride or wild mouse) might fit well. They could even open up a Tapas joint or "Paella Palace"...

That Bull Fighting idea is so corny and so stupid, it makes absolutely no sense.

Busch Gardens is all about animal preservation, conservation, & education. Bull Fighting is morally wrong and goes against EVERYTHING that Busch Gardens is about. Not all bull fights in the world end in the death of the bull, but it's not exactly safe for either side... and it isn't considered entertainment in America.

Next, why don't they start making bears ride little motorcycles or make tigers walk tight ropes over fire, and theme it over India & the Middle East

...Wondering what the 2002 season holds for all parks...

Animals have no rights, except for the right to live, if they had anyrights, they'd have their own form of government and be able to protect themselves and whatnot.  Sure it's our job to protect them, but to an extent.  Do you know how many bulls there are out there?  And duh, of course they wouldn't kill the bull, that's dumb, and it would cost them a fortune.  I know I wouldn't.  And I don't see anything wrong with a bullfight, it adds to the themeing, as long as it's done right.

I totally agree with you DDFire!!!!!
Although BG does much more than other parks to preserve wildlife, they do their part to screw it up.  I know that they had to drain some of the Rhine near Alpie to fit it in and they had to do the same in other areas of the park so I'm not so sure how worried they'd be about killing bulls.  Back to the original subject, I think that a Spain section would fit the park very nicely but I'm not sure how necessary it is with the recent addition of Ireland.

Or even worse, they could get whales to swin around in tiny little tanks, jump around and stick their tounges out for little treats. Better yet, they could get some birds to fly around in a little netted 'cage' while people walk around under them. No wait! I've got it! Why dont they have seals/sea lions/walruses waddle around and shake the hands of guests with their flippers.

If you hand caught on by know, all these things currently happen in BEC parks. Why would haveing a bull run around apparently charging at a trainer be so ludicrous?

BTW: If you dont think bullfighting is entertaining in the USA then you havent seen a 'Rodeo Clown' do her work lately (it's DAMN funny!)
