Space Needle Coaster

Right under the space needle in Seattle there is a blue coaster.  Does anybody know of this coaster or was it just a little traviling coaster?

In fact I just rode this. It's a clone of The Hurricane at SCBB. It was designed by SDC and the model is called "Windstorm". That's the name of it also. Pics of it's clone:

Whoa! That is one wicked drop in that last photo. I want one for my backyard! :)

SDC? Does it stand for anything & did they design the Galaxi coasters?

Here's a page on Windstorm. The photo shows the Needle in the background.

That twisting drop is amazing...

Yah. I'm pretty sure that was my first coaster I've been on, save the "junior" coasters! Hardly any line so I practicaly stayed on the whole day!

Hey man...I ride that thing all the time.  The only intense, albeit short, coaster in the Seattle area.  That drop is the third drop of the ride, and it slows very little prior to the twist.  It is very intense, and full of G's.  In fact, this is the first coaster that I actually experienced a 'gray-out' on.  The stop is very abrupt, and I have actually noticed my eyes wobbling like a cartoon character who was just hit by an anvil!  Great ride.

Yeah, now that I think about it, it is a very fun and intense coaster for being so small. A great starter coaster for parks that can't afford a B&M. :)

SDC stands for Schwartzkopf Design Corperation.

Yet another coaster-craving yuppie
ive ridden it too.  that twisting drop reminds me of flashback.  The helix near the end is pretty intense too.  Fun little coaster.
