Space Mountain Car For Sale

Here is an opportunity to purchase a Disneyland Space Mountain car. If I only had about $3,000 laying around. This is certainly a piece of Disneyland History.

What would you do with the car?

Throw it on a golf cart chassis and use it to pick up groceries. ;)

I would like to put it in my basement and hook the speakers up to it that are in the seats and blast the Space Mountain music in it. The possibilities are endless for something like this. If you want to modify it you could make a childs bed out of it (like the race car beds) even a large flower pot. I would never do that I would just keep it the way that it is and make it a coaster show piece for my home.

I'd make it a childs bed and sleep in it even though I wouldn't fit.

When these were sold initally all of the hardware (speakers, lapbars, etc) was removed. It's basically just the fiberglass shell.

It contains no chassis and no hardware. I would think that makes it pretty much worthless to most enthusiasts. I know that for my money, I'd want an actual car and not just the plastic body of one.

That's probably why nobody has bid on it with just about 3 hours to go.

I don't think this is the first time this item was put up for auction. Unless Disney is selling more than one.

In the picture it looked like the lapbars were still there...

I should buy it, I can throw it behind my garage with my rusted Euclid Beach fencing.

This isn't a Disney auction. The person who bought the original car is probably getting yelled at by someone for doing something a bit stupid and is now selling it again on EBay.

I have been seeing alot of Disney Rides for resale of E-bay of late. Frist the monorail red from WDW and now a space mt. car. Whats next Mr. Toad cars from wdw?
