I like the Shamu planes. In fact, I saw one fly overhead when I was at Seaworld. I was the only human jumping up and down of course.

No...they didn't have it IN the plane...it was painted on silly!

I don't remember the penguins on the planes but I did get to ride a Shamu one on the way back to San Diego.

I saw a killer whale plane just this last Sunday on approach to Cleveland Hopkins. I did a double take because I had never seen one before.

Do you think the Penguins will ever get out of hand Courtney Love style? ;) Maybe the sardines won't be chilled to just the right temperature and throw a squawking, flapping fit.

The way the airlines are cutting back, perhaps they could train the penguins to serve as flight attendants, kind of like the waiters in the animated segment of Mary Poppins...

Would they really have to wand the penguins at the security checkpoint? Why not have them waddle through the metal detector? Or if they're really concerned about 'em, send 'em through the X-ray.... :)

Do you suppose Southwest's reservation system runs under Linux? :)
