Southern California construction update

Posted | Contributed by James Disney

WestCoaster.net has updated with all the latest construction photos and news from The Disneyland Resort, Knott's Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

The big news from Knott's is that the construction walls have gone up around Windjammer! They have also started clearing land in Wild Water Wilderness for the movement of Headspin for the second time in two years.

Magic Mountain is continuing its construction projects on Deja Vu and X. And last but not least, The Disneyland Resort is still working on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Play It!

Does anyone know what the 4th attraction is going to be?

Looks interesting doesn't it?

I'm surprised that they have already begun work on that third park. I kinda wish they'd dump that money into DCA. Double the number of attractions.

Forget about it. It can't be THAT bad!
Someone from another post said it looked like a S&S...

It's an S & S Sports Power 'Sling-Shot' prototype. The first one is to make its opening at Six Flags Magic Mountain as "Thrill Shot." Three seperate towers will accomodate a single rider platform giving no more than 6 person rides a time. The platform is shot skyward and riders dive back to the ground head first. Sources say that the head first plunge towards the ground is in the rider's control.
kRaXLeRidAh: Where did you find this out?
