That's why the Travel Channel shoot was actually pretty cool, once we managed to get in we didn't have to get out :) By the way... I still think I have bruises from that ;) Anyone else still have nightmares/flashbacks while they are driving and see this huge bank to left while going 70mph?.....------------------

Now enjoying the married life!!!
Even though my thighs were bruised severely on the Travel Channel shoot, I still look back at that day with nothing but smiles. Sonny was running AWESOME that day with airtime we didn't even know it had! I was really having fun up until about the 25th ride then it was getting painful.
Chuck, who got 25 rides straight one fearfest night in '01 when it was still (Rough) and didnt get bruised then cause his knees were lower without the board in the floor.

Not to stray too far from the subject, but Jr Gemini was no stack of pancakes, either. :(

I'm not an enthusiast, I just play one on message boards.
Once you are in Millies train there is absolutely no way to get your feat out from under the little lip above your feet when the restraint is down.
Am i missing somethign in my comparison or would this not work?

Flight of Fear and Mr. Freeze both have a little metal plate on the floor under one foot. I think the plate has something to do with the lap bar mechanism...and it is not the same on Flight of Fear as on Mr. Freeze. Specifically, on Flight of Fear it is only on the floor of the front seat of each car, while Mr. Freeze has this plate in front of every seat. I'm guessing that plate is what Jeremy is thinking of, and it's nothing like the strange angled piece on the floor of the Son of Beast car. On Sonny they have effectively put diagonal steps on the floor so that in addition to partially raising the floor, they make it so that if you are bigger than about a size 7 shoe, you can't put your whole foot on the floor.I haven't been on Joker's Jinx or Poltergeist.

Okay, then I have no idea what you all are talking about. I rode Sonny in August of 2000 and May of 2001. Was this change in effect during either period of time?
