Son of Beast Down for repairs?

What is PKI doing to SoB? It's been down for a long time since early fall I think? Are they making it smoother?
Brian,

I believe the search feature of Coasterbuzz may be inoperative at this point, so I understand that you may not have been able to search on this topic.

Another recent thread about this can be found at http://www.coasterbuzz.com/forum.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=44494

Yes, SOB has been closed since last since for trackwork and should reopen at some point in time in the future.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
The ride is scheduled to open mid/late May.

Yes, Son of Beast is closed, and in the first two weekends of the season it was possible to see tarps covering critical sections where major work was clearly being done.

The bad news is that they are planning to open it back up in late Spring.

That thing better be open in time for Beastbuzz. Before I could concur that it is indeed a horrible ride, as said by a lot of people on this site, I have to 'survive' a lap. (And I should probably bring pain killers just in case)

You won't see me coming...

All I saw was Son of Beast Down for.. and then my brain filled in the last word with "Good" and I was about to start a happy dance. Darn... they are "fixing" it. ;)

Will someone pick on Grizzly (Fizzy) at PGA for a change?

Sheesh :)

Chuck

I can't speak for Grizzly, but CLP's Toboggan has to go.

Oops! My bad. I had meant to type 'fall' in my explicit explanation.
