Sometimes They just won't GO!

Ok, I'm having a really odd problem on RCT3. Sometimes, just randomly, my rides will not load. The line could be forever and a day long, and no one in the car/train, but no one moves! WTF?

It's a problem with the game. Make sure you've downloaded the patches (although I still see it with certain rides with the patches installed)

But remember, in two weeks we can buy an add-on that lets peeps pee! :)

Good to know the priorities are there.

Once again obsessive with the pee thing Gonch! I have had alot of flat rides do this to me, and the coasters are busy in numbers but no one wants to ride certain rides, its most bizarre.

Heh. I just think it's the perfect example.

Gameplay is still unbalanced and buggy, but they're focusing on adding things as inconsequential as peeps peeing.

Threads like this where people actually play the game (as opposed to making the pretty looking stuff) and find the many flaws just irk me.

There's a whole segment of players who do use the game beyond a fantasy design tool. Frontier has largely ignored that segment.

In general, it seems to me the less in depth you know the series, the happier you are with RCT3 as it stands.

I totaly agree gonch. I have a problem with the scenerio that has the big go carts, the problem is that when i build 2 or 3 coasters for the vipeep and he dosn't ride any of them. there all what the objective says with the exitment of over 4 on all of them and he just dosn't go to any of them.

Not true, there are certain features I like that the previous 2 don't have, then again there are things the first 2 have that the 3rd does not, basically you can't win either way.
I dont know, I like 2 better. Not that i'm saying that I hate 3, dont get me wrong i love it, but I just like the feel of 2 better. But thats just me. *** Edited 6/16/2005 1:46:36 AM UTC by Tycoontitan***

Might I ask which things RCT3 has that the first two didn't that you like, Dominator56?

Just out of curiousity.

Ok, in RCT2, why do all the peeps sometimes just get stuck on an open path? Obviously, its a glitch, but is there a patch out for it? I've looked, but never found. :(

I know this has nothing to do with the topic but i just did the funniest thing! first go to sandbox mode but don't make anything(path, rides etc.) and let the path fill up.Then take a launch coaster(i cant remember the name of it, its the superman great escape type of coaster)make it heding straight for the path and set it for the fastest launch speed. Then test it and ride it. the people fly everywere and the peeps think things like "ouch!" and "that smarts". its a riot. *** Edited 6/16/2005 2:07:15 AM UTC by Tycoontitan***

Well Gonch, I like the Coaster-cam most of all. I like how you can manage staff, I like the way guests and staff think. Now for what I like in RCT2....saving building with coasters, i also like the management was alot easier. I'm sure there's more i just cant' think right now. those that i listed for RCT3 would be the main reason i play, but i also try to play despite flaws.
Yeah the coaster cam has always been a big factor with RCT and then they finnaly do it! but what sucks is that my computer has gotten real slow because of spyware and the like so its real tough to get through a coaster without stoping for long periods of time, But at that rare moment when it all works and doesnt stop, the coaster cam is a beutiful thing.

Go to www.lavasoft.de and the the free version of Ad-aware SE It will get rid of all your spyware and adware....and then you can enjoy coaster cam in calm peace and quiet.

Let me just say this from beta testing Soaked. I suggest giving it a try. You may be pleasantly surprised. :)

I'm giving it a chance.
