SoCal Questions

Hello everyone. I will be going to SFMM, Knott's, DisneyLand, and DCA June 21-26. Have Deja Vu and Flashback been running lately. Also what have the lines been for X and how has it been operating. Also has Xcelerator been open? Thanks for the help.

-Sean Newman

Edit: What is the direct route to X from the main gate?

Flashback is closed, and you wouldn't want to ride it anyway. Deja vu is only open the days X is closed (from what I heard).

This place would be be a nightmare for midgets.

Can anyone explain the whole DejaVu/X thing? Seems kinda stupid to me. I really liked both those rides and to know that only one or the other will intentionally be open on any given day will really make me think twice about going back to Cali & SFMM. Also, Flashback is a fun little ride. It could use some new trains, granted, but I liked it just fine. Don't they close it whenever the water park is open for "noise control?"
Xcelerator's reliability has improved dramatically from last summer, and it is not scheduled for a rehab until sometime after summer. Cycle times are down to like 1:40 too.

Don't know about the Deja Vu and X thing, but if the X is open, be there at opening and ride it first. The line can get really bad, especially if they are running a single train.

The Flashback is one of the coolest looking coasters aout there. However, it is THE roughest ride I've ever ridden. It will give you a headache/earache. There are some serious problems that need to be worked out. I'm surprised that the insurance carrier allows that ride to remain open. Perhaps the low ridership cuts down on the claims.
