SoCal Buzzers: Cheap KBF Tickets?

*bump*

The Food 4 Less store on Beach Blvd just south of the Park (and just south of Stanton St) has Knott's admission tickets for $22.95 per adult -- regular park admission is $42, so this is a steal. The tickets are good through Feb 23, and you have to ask a cashier for them.

Thanks, GoliathKills!

End of public service announcement.

I've got a CF season pass, but the rest of my family doesn't... when I was last in the LA area (early august) there was a commercial for a grocery store selling cheap KBF tickets.

Anyone remember the name of that store and if they're still doing that promotion? If not, are there other places I can get discounted tickets?

Thanks!

Go to Food 4 Less down the street and get the tickets half off. :) If only I could remember the name of that street now.
I think the street your thinking of is Beach Boulavard.

Go to www.knotts.com and look up local promotions and discount rates...

At the Knott's site (Under "What's Hot), it talks about the discount tickets from Food 4 Less but states you have to buy them by Jan.7th :( Does anyone know if Food 4 Less sells any kind of discount tickets after Jan 7th? I am going to CA at the end of January so I can't buy my tickets until then......
Usually the discounts rotate around the Kroger stores. I bet ralphs is next, possibly an additional deal with Fry's supermarket in AZ (does this store have anything to do with Frys electronics? The logos are the same, but they are owned by different companies and sell completely different things. Are the Frys supermarkets themed to rome or egypt, like Fry's electronics?). Bottom line is they ALWAYS have a GOOD discount going around, unlike disneyland (only during the summer, and you have to buy coke products). Sometimes though, inbetween discounts, they go for a few days without a supermarket discount, which would mean you would have to look in one of those tourism racks at hotels, car rental locations, airports. Unlike other theme parks that give you a whopping 5-8 bucks off, knotts gives really deep discounts like the supermarket ones. Good luck!
And also note:

This time of year KBF has things going on where they shut down the park early (made that mistake last year). That Food 4 less will sometimes not sell those tickets (only on that day though) but we went back the next day it was no problem. I think they have some type of Christian Youth festival this time of year.

Great Park though!!

Haunted Ohio Parks...you've been warned!!

Are you trying to say Food for less will not sell tickets for Praise 2003, a christian music new years celebration (A TON of christian youth groups)? Food for less just sells you a ticket, valid till like february. That ticket is valid any day up until the final day, except christmas, when the park is closed. it is not valid for praise 2003, which is a special ticket event (exactly like haunt scheduling) that takes place once the park shuts down for the day. You can visit on new years eve, the park just closes very early, and the park is very empty for a vacation.
