SOBeast, what do you think?

I know the bone-jarring, rib cracker turn Moosh speaks of. If that one spot was smoothed out I honestly could ride all night on Voyage. It is that one spot that make me have to take breaks.

The ride still sucks. The layout of the ride is bland, and the ride is still ruff.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Well heres a update on the lawsuit.

DENIED!

Geez, what a crazy idea it was to built that ride.

Couldda had a Cornball, Cyclops, Cyclone, a few Mt. Olympus-style go-car tracks, some extra support so the Beast could run faster... but we got this big mess.

I think it kinda gave the whole idea of a wooden coaster w/a loop a bad mark as well. If it were done right, there is no reason why it wouldn't be a success. Mindbender is basically a smooth woodie with 2 loops! Shockwave too.

Some park person that used to be at PKI told me, They could have had four LEGENDS :)

I'm not sure if this is true, partially true, or pure myth but what I've come to understand is that Paramount was toying around with the idea of a wooden coaster layout that they could clone chain-wide...and the leading contender for this was a near-copy of the legendary Rye AeroCoaster.

That plan was then nixed and (P)KI got SOB.

^I heard that was 'true', Moosh!

Anyway you look at it, the park is kinda stuck with a 'beast' now, pun intended.

I mean, look at Hades, even Voyage. Imagine those at a 'big corporate park' like KI. Well, aside from the maintenance stuff - a given. I remember thinking that when Hades opened. It's a no-brainer.

If the loop had been implemented closer to the first drop in the layout, would it have needed those heavy trains? I always heard they were built like that or the ride wouldn't make it through the layout, but couldn't the layout have just been altered?
It wouldn't have mattered about the layout, you were dealing with a bunch that wanted headlines and knew nothing else.

Phoenix or American Eagle!? Who proves the point?

(Not to bash AE, It is still good, after years of 'bad behavior')
