They said it was too rough over the 2nd hill (I Think), they had a video on this site that showed POV from front, you could see the camra shake over it.

You can bet I won't be there opening day. I'll wait a least 2 weeks.

Told you they won't open this weekend. I'd guess I'd win the ten bucks.;)

Uh, that's neat... I thought they said previously that the work was already done and they were just waiting for the state inspector...

I have a feeling, when it's all said and done, this ride will have been well worth the wait. OK, so PKI has made some poor desicions. (opening the ride too early, yadda, yadda) Once there are no more Gremlins chewing on the superstructure, we are all in for a real treat.

I hope it's open by 5/30/00 because if it is I'll be riding it. I'm willing to risk my safety. I'll post how good of a ride I thought it was for you (like it wouldn't be good). That is if I live through the expiriance.

Anybody know if they've rescheduled the SoB early lineup for pass holders yet? (Or if they're even going to bother extending it? It was supposed to be April-May, but that didn't work out too well, did it? :) )

i don't even know if it will open this weekend because my mom works there and the rumor going around is that the construction workers have no clue what they are doing and even supposed to be doing and thats why there has been very little progress over the past couple of weeks.

i have some friends that work there and they sayed the builders mested up the welding and the trains are cracking!!!

ChannelCincinnati.com said it will be closed today and they will see if they can get it open tommorrow. They have been test running it the past 2 weeks. The builders are not messing up anything and the workers DO know what they are doing. The park is waiting for the state inspector to give the aproval for the ride. They wiil probably run it with two trains when they open it. I hope it opens this weekend cause I'll be there next Friday to ride it.

Newsflash!!!! A local news station said that the Son Of Beast is going to be open Sunday. The state inspector had come down and approved the opening of SOB. It looks like the curse is lifted. Party at my house. :)
