SOB and PTC

Haven't actually had a chance to ride SOB, but from what I understand sitting in those trains is a less than pleasant experience, especially for tall people like me (I'm 6'3"). My question is: Is there any reason why this ride has not been and/or could not be fitted with PTC trains? These seem to be the most comfortable wood coaster trains I've been on.

-----------------

The reason why PKI had to get completely original trains for Son of Beast is because of the loop, and the incredible speed of this ride. SOB's track guage is a lot wider than a normal wooden coaster, so PTCs wouldn't be able to ride on the track, also, PKI needed to come up w/ a unique train and lapbar design so there would be no need for OTSRs etc. I hope that helps.
And not just PTC. PKI talked to GCI about using specialiazed Millennium Flyer trains but Mike Boodley wasn't interested in making them.

-----------------
Gas to get to PKI, $5.60. ACE card for walkback, $50.00. Meeting up with Beastnum1 and drinking 20 lemonjuice packets, priceless

And who *would* be interested in contributing anything to such a stupid idea? The only companies that weren't smart about it were Paramount, RCCA, and Premier...and hopefully lessons have been learned.

I don't think it has a wider gauge. The same trains are used on Wild Wild West at WBMW Germany. It's a cyclone clone much like all the others.
