SOB--Can't see any trains on PKI Webcam

I have been looking at the PKI Webcam
since PKI opened today and I have yet
to see any trains on the track? Has
anyone heard anything today about whether
it's up and running?

Of course, it did rain a lot this morning and that could be part of it.

It's supposed to open on Sunday. Cross your fingers. I've been watching the webcam like a hawk right now as well, just trying to see something. If you want an auto-refreshing webcam view, go to http://www.13threalm.com/pki there's a link in the upper right.

Yesterday, Son of Beast Freak wrote that it's supposed to open today!!! Who's right?

I believe it was on Cincinatti TV News that it would be Sunday. Seeing the lack of trains today, I'm inclined to agree with the Sunday prediction.

Going to ride MF at CP for three straight days starting a week from Tuesday.........Can't wait!

Going in June: 12th & 13th at PKI, 14th at CP. Looking forward to both SoB and MF. Since CP appearently fixed the three train problem on MF, the lines should move quicker! Yippee!

Will definately be updating my PKI site with the trip info & adding PKI/SoB pictures. Maybe even sneak an on-ride photo or two... :) Possibly some video.

Where did you get the info on MF's 3 trains?
I haven't heard that yet.

I admit, it's hearsay at the moment. Got the info from my brother. (Thus the use of "appearently" ;) ) I believe he got it from someone who was just there, though.

SOB opened briefly for an ACE walkback. My friend rode it twice. I think it opens to the public tommorrow. According to him, the problems have been fixed, and SOB is running even better than before.

The three train info came from www.guidetothepoint.com a sister site to coaster buzz. If you are a fan of CP I highly recommend it.

Today, 5-28, I cannot see any trains. The crane looks like it has started moving around at about 1:00.

Does anyone know for sure if it's open???

IT IS NOT OPEN TODAY. THERE HAS BEEN PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE SINCE OPEN, BUT THEY SAID THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN IT WILL OPEN TODAY 5/28/00 BUT THAT IS ALL THE INFO THAT WAS GIVEN. HASN'T BEEN RUNNING AT ALL TODAY, FROM WHAT FRIENDS AT THE PARK HAVE BEEN SAYING... MORE INFO TO COME AS I RECIEVE IT..

It did open later in the day. My friends stood in line for about 3 hours to ride and they said it was worth the wait. So I'm going with them tomorrow and we are going to ride it. Will report on it when i get back.
