Soaring Eagle Casino

I live in Clare, MI near Soaring Eagle Casino. It opened as the largest casino east of the Mississippi about 10 years ago. Today they announced plans to expand. This includes three new casino/hotel buildings, an amusment park, a water park, an indoor ski hill, and an outdoor recreation area for dirt bikes/ATVs. The rough plans show what looks like a 5 inversion coaster. The tribe wants to turn Soaring Eagle into "the premier midwest tourist destination".

I was at the casino in June. Nice place and very friendly people. It was a long drive on back roads from Grand Rapids (if I was going the right way) and I wonder what the demand for something like this would be. They have a lot of competition from other casinos in Michigan and I'd suppose its still kinda in the Cedar Point competitive zone, too.
