So how addictive is it?

Hi! My name is Linda, I'm 49, and I'm addicted to DDR. (don't we all sound like an AA group?)

Actually, it's my son's game (he's going to be 17), and he got it the day of his 16th birthday party. That's when I got sucked in.

Although I couldn't even match the kids when they played, the first thing I realized was the great aerobic workout it provided, and it was FUN. So I began playing mostly for the workout.

I know I'll never be as good as most of you youngsters, but I've improved more than I thought I ever would. At least I don't think I'll embarass myself TOO much if I play the arcade version in public.

With all the computer and console games available these days, I find it wonderful that there is a game that actually makes it fun for kids to get some exercise.

Shouldn't that be 'AAA' group? ....since, you know, we're all striving for perfection? (lol)

I played it twice on a cruise once. I stood slouching on that thing completely dumbstruck tapping the arrows with my toes like there was gum on my shoe or something.

I guess I need to stop being such a teenager and actually DANCE, hence the name.

Anyone hear about the guy who can beat the game on his knees? I heard that from one of my sister's friends who is also amazing at the game

LOL Chris! Actually, I'm closer to AA than AAA, even if it IS what I strive for.
