Snyder want to turn SF into a Mini-Disney?

Six Flags needs a big change to take place somewhere in the area of upper management. Whoever manages to initiate that change and get the right people in there will get the credit for turning the company around. Bill Gates didn't know anything about home video game systems but he found and hired people that did. Snyder probably knows nothing about running a theme park chain but I'm sure he'll find and hire the appropriate people as well.
Maybe Steve Spurrier is interested.

LOL, considering Spurrier's current location, maybe he should concentrate on saving the pavilion...and, as usual, his golf game... ;)
uh... Didn't Steve just accept a new coaching position with a college someplace?

If Snyder did hire someone it would take him five years before he hired a proven industry vetran. If Gates hired someone, they would wait until someone found a security flaw and just keep patching it until they finally fixed it. A process that is proving to take years and is still ongoing.

Looking over the bio's on SF website of the executives at SF each one of them have some sort of industry exeperince. Some from the travel/leisure industry and others from the theme park industry. The only person that doesn't is Burke himself.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Gates would buy out the smallest competitors, and steal all the ride ideas from the medium sized competitors, then sue them and drive them out of business under the burden of monstrous legal fees. Then the website would brag about all the new innovative rides he created.

Wonder if Microsoft is Melissa's pet name for his.. never mind.

Well, Mr. Snyder has started his attempt to gain a 34.9% share of the company and oust current management. The existing board is mulling his offer.

I still say Snyder has no interest in operating amusement parks and his interest is only in selling off the parks for development and using SFA property for stadium parking. Thats just my take on this guy.
