Have any of you visited a park in the snow? I live in Southern California and we never get snow. I wonder what it would be like to go to a theme park in the snow. ------------- Las Vegas Rules!!
Parks really don't let you in when there is snow on the ground.
I am just saying that if they did let you in and what would it feel like. ------------- Las Vegas Rules!!
Speaking of snow...

I have had the joy of working during the snow. It is cold and miserable, you just stand there because there are only 5 guests in the park. The rides have to be run empty so they stay warm. But we eventually end up closing early.
Ain't nothing like the Point in January let me tell you.Cold doesn't even begin to describe it.
I went to Knoebels after about 4 inches of snow fell around Christmas time. The park wasn't open of course but I walked around the park. Most of the rides were disassembled some you couldn't tell what they were unless you were there before. The coasters were even coated with snow.
I'm sure if you search the trip reports you can find my TR.

PKI's ACE day last year was held in extrememly cold temps. Nothing ran except the Beast. Yes it was snowing, but nothing more than flurries. Still an interesting ride, though.
