Dude, can you give me her number.
This makes me think of Morticia Addams asking "Do you mind if I smoke?" .... and then literally doing so.

I often joke that the state flag of Ohio should be changed to a picture of a 45 year old woman with 80's hair in a jeans jacket standing outside of a building shivering uncontrollably while sucking on a cigarette.
Hey now! I resemble that remark! ;)
In all seriousness, I am respectful towards smokers as long as they are respectful towards me. Having designated smoking areas in parks has worked wonders for the most part. One of my biggest pet peeves are people who light up while in line. It's highly inconsiderate and repulsive. Some parks are better at enforcing the rules than others.
With that said, I haven't touched a cigarette in 20 years!

And you rock every bit of it!

And you rock even more for it! Congrats.
I think the worst smoking area I ever saw was at Morey's Piers. It was right by the kiddie area! I stay in the designated smoking areas to smoke usually, and I wouldn't smoke there. No one said anything when I lit up in a non-kid filled area instead.
I'll admit, I get annoyed when people gripe about smoking in parks (you're OUTSIDE in a large open area), but I would never smoke in line. Even when I was smoking and you COULD smoke anywhere, I wouldn't. I'm not sure what about consideration for others is so difficult.
Kings Dominion is a smoker's paradise. There are smoking areas approximately every 10 feet, and they're usually packed with smokers. I'm surprised they've even bothered with smoking areas. Those people are dedicated!

When smoking sections were new at my home park, Six Flags Great America, I would walk by them and say "is everyone enjoying their fix!?" with a smile. It was meant to be funny and people liked it. One time I said "I hope someone catches the dragon this time!" which is a reformed druggie joke (as nicotine is scientifically more addictive than heroin). One older lady (about 45, probably in a jean jacket with 90s hair) burst out laughing. It made one person laugh so it was totally worth saying.
