Small Changes for Home Park (almost free)

My homepark is (Geauga Lake):

#1-Covers for X-Flight line
#2-fans for X-Flight line
#3-park map that isn't divided
#4-go back to manual brakes on Big Dipper

For CP:
ummmm........
#1 Always race Gemini
#2 Tone down the brakes on Mean Streak
#3 PA system
#4 go back to manual brakes on Blue Streak

Okay, while I might agree with changing the "restraining system" of Blue Streak, why would you want manual brakes on BS & BD, especially BD? BD still uses skid brakes (not sure about BS) so the experience is the same, just more a little more 'idiot proof'.

Sorry, but upgrading Blue Streak to fin brakes was a safety improvement. Not only that, it lets them run both trains in the rain. I miss the brake levers too, but I can't really argue with the parks' decisions to upgrade the rides to modern controls.

I was pondering some ideas for SFWoA and I got some pretty good ideas:

***Embrace Big Dipper History, Sign like Geauga Lake had, Sign commemorating ACE Classic Coaster Status, if they have one I missed it, so make it bigger. (CP doesn’t have a classic).

***Give Big Dipper station more of an old time feel. Remove that ugly fence! Put headlights back on its trains. It used to have them.

***Always run two trains on Big Dipper and give double rides!

Note: I like the twirly bushes by S:UE. More creative landscaping like that would be cool.

***Run trains on Villain, Big Dipper, and RWB backwards during fright fest (SFMM)

***Invite high school marching bands to march around park.

***Add Tunnels to RWB!

***put tunnel over trick track section of Villain

***Have signs in queues that teach GP about coasters (history, types, designers, physics) the signs could be sponsored by coaster clubs and sites (Coaster Buzz). Why not? People are bored in line anyway. Get people talking about coasters.
