Small but nice water parks?

In the NY are on Long Island is Splish Splash http://www.splishsplashlongisland.com/ The park is out near Riverhead which is a bit of a drive across the island if you commin from out of state. Fun place though.

Thunder Falls Family Water Park just opened in Mackinaw City, MI last summer. It has two slide towers, a very fun wave pool, a lazy river, several children's attractions, plus an arcade and midway games. It is a very nice park with good theming, sand instead of cement in many areas, and nice landscaping. It is definately worth the trip if you are in the area. I'm happy to have it only 20 minutes from my house although I'm hoping to someday have some amusement rides around the area.

The now closed Crystal Beach was my favorite Waterpark ever. I only got to visit once, but they had the most original and strange layout of any park I've ever been to.

Every waterslide except two ended in the Lake. Tell me that isn't strange. And I believe they had a concrete tube slide, and one slide that was entirely in the lake, even the tower. Somebody drowned and the family sued, so they had to close down, but man, I wish I could go there again.

About 15 minutes west of Cedar Point . It's pretty new, clean, cheap, and seldom a wait for the two bigger slides.

Waldameer Amusement Park has Waterworld connected to it...everything is inexpensive including the food, as well as you can bring your own picnic in!

Chargrilled All-Beef Hot Dogs were $2, Chargrilled Hamburgers $2.50, Chargrilled Cheeseburgers $2.75, and combos were $6-7. Plus they make the classic thick fries everyone loves! :) mmmmmm $2.50 for a tray and $5 for a bucket!
