Small bomb explodes at downtown disney.

Not that big of a deal, but CNN is reporting that a small bomb exploded in a trash can in the downtown disney parking lot.

No one was hurt and there was no major damage. Again, not a big deal but it kind of makes you think.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Doesn't look like it wasn't too bad. DTD has been having a lot of problems as of late.

Certain victory.

What the H*LL is going on with Disney, lately their worst then Six Flags.

1) We're adults here, I think you can use the word "hell."

2) Someone placed an explosive device in a trash can. How does this make Disney worst [sic] then [sic] Six Flags?

Looks like someone is doing the 4th of July H-100 garbage can trick.

When I was in high school, someone put an H-100 in a locker and shut the door. It blew the door right off the hinges.

You were replying to Coasterkid200. I just had to point that out. ;)
It must have been a prank. Nothing other than a stupid person doing a stupid thing.

Here is the video from CNN.

Also a video on amusement park dangers.

Stuff like this irritates me on two fronts. First of all, I'm a Certified Pyrotechnician. Things like this make it even tougher for those of us that participate in the fireworks industry because every deal like this gets the Consumer Products Safety Commission and the BATF all worked up against folks that use fireworks legitimately.

Secondly, As we all know, anytime anything happens close to or at an amusement area/theme park/whatever the news media takes the opportunity to dredge up coaster and ride accidents from ten years ago and somehow drag them in to a story that has nothing to do with a coaster, ride or whatever.

I agree, everytime something happens near a park, they always bring up the past.

Yea so, Disney definitely needs to get their s**t straight. They had that robbing last month in downtown, now they're a practicing terrorist hot spot. I think downtown isn't a safe place to be anymore.

Give me a break! And your downtown is safe? How about mine? Nowhere, public or private is truely safe. Disney is no different than anywhere else. But, I'd STILL feel safer there then where I live.

still laughing about "a practicing terrorist hot spot"... :)

I just watched something on CNN about the recent park accidents, on the Scrambler, Hellevator (I still call it that...lol.) The ending editorial was "Are Rides really SAFE?"

<---rolls eyes.

Scooter, and H-100? I am curious. We used to use M-90's but they only caused a LOT of noise and maybe some damage. ;) I doubt high school kids could get away with those pranks (including the smoke bombs) anymore without being sent to federal prison.

Are pulling fire alarms a smack on the wrist anymore or does everyone freak out?

Brad G,

I understand your frustration. Yikes!
