"Would you like to buy a photo of you boys enjoying the Line Ride?"
I have always wanted to skydive, and that's one of the few things I want to do before I die (closest I've ever gotten was Parasailing). That video made me want to get up and do it right now. Thanks for sharing that!

I hit my 40th just 2 days before you, but mine wasn't quite as exciting.
Stand up, hook up, shuffle through the door, jump right out and shout AIRBORNE!
If my main don't open wide, I got a reserve by my side. If that one should fail me too, look out below I'm a comin through."
AIRBORNE!!!
Glad you had a great time on your first jump! Y'know the army is taking people past forty now...
Certain victory.
It was a truly amazing experience, as I've said before. Funny, because when you're in the air, it seems like a LONG time. Watching the video, I realized I probably only dropped maybe 40 seconds?
Still, I'm thinking of getting my license. Only 6 jumps away!
My wife says she'll jump with me, if I could ever become a tandem dive master. That way, if we go, we go together.

Happy Birthday! Congrats on surviving and all... The video was awesome!
Again congrats on everything! Not to burst any bubbles, but just to clarify -- you can typically go solo (without an instructor) after about 7-8 jumps, but the actual license requires a minimum of 25. As for being a tandem master though, you'll need at least 499 more jumps...
Whatcha waitin' for? :)

Yeah, I figured it was 500 or so for the Tandem/Jumpmaster thing. For the license, I figured it was the 7, so that's good to know. Still, I'm pretty damn sure I'll be pursuing it.
Thanks Jeff. :)

Just like myself with tattoos and skydiving: always said I would do it but back out and provide excuses. :)
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
Looks like an absolute BLAST, though. Well done, Rob, and happy b-day to boot! :)
Scott, I'm way more afraid of a tattoo or a piercing than skydiving. Call me odd. ;)
