hey guys, I wanted to know if the base of the skyWhirl and the 3 arms we're scrapped an sent to a recycling plant or if they're still somewhere in or aroun GA. Thanks for ur help!

I remember someone stating that the base and the arms were sent to a scrap yard in Zion, Ill. which is about 10 minutes from the park. The cages are still in the employee parking lot lined up side by side.
Ric Flair was hitting on the female host, he told her - "Space Mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it has the longest line." WOOOOO!

The entire structure was cut into small pieces and sent to the Cleveland Corporation in Zion, IL, which is 20 minutes from the park, to be recycled.
