SixFlags: World of Adventure Coupons at Wendy's

I was at a Wendy's in Pittsburgh yesterday and I noticed a stack of coupons for SixFlags: World of Adventure. They were very good coupons though I cant recall exactly what they were.

Is that Freedom Rock? Well turn it up dude !!

I noticed those coupons at the Wendy's on Rt. 250 a couple miles from CP. I thought it was weird that they had SFWOA coupons so close to Cedar Point but it just must be some promotion with Wendy's or something. There were 3 discounts on the coupons. One was for a buy one admission, get one free. Another one was for $10 off an adult admission and I can't remember offhand what the third discount was for.

Those are the same ones I saw. Realize that the BOGO offer was only valid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I thought I'd bring this back up seeing as I am going out to SFWOA next week the day after Coastermania. I had two questions:

1.) Does anyone from the area know if Wendy's is still handing out these coupons? (also is there an expiration date?)

2.) Also is the deal still on, where for instance I go in with this coupon and buy a general admission ticket, can I now buy a season pass for 15 dollars once I have entered the park? Somewhere in one of these trip reports it says something about this being true.

Thanks in advance for the information, it is greatly appreciated.

There doing this for Sfog too.
1) yes they still have them...some of the deals expire on June 8th... sorry I cant help more...
Perhaps I can help you out:

Yes, the coupons are still being handed out in MASSIVE quantities...every Wendy's I have been in throughout Ohio has had them (though I'm not saying that they all do, just every one I have even come close too has had them.)

The "flyer" has 3 coupons, Operating schedule, A Map, and Phone numbers for stay. The 3 Coupons Are:

$15 off before June 8th, 2003 Good up to 6 admissions.

BOGO Free Up to 6 admissions. Any Tues, Wed, or Thursday ONLY July 1st-Aug 28

Save $10 any day Up to 6 admissions June 30th-Sept 1

$1 of you purchase price with the above coupons will go to the Dave Thomas Foundation.

Hope this helps!! If you need to know about anything else or other coupons let me know.

I really appreciate it. Do you have any idea now on whether or not the season pass deal is also in effect once I enter the park? If this is true I might be able to thriftfully (new word) pull off getting a season pass for just under what a regular price general admission ticket to SFGAm would be ($43.95). (25 for general admission ticket w/coupon and 15 for the season pass once I have entered the park). How great is that! :) Thanks again.
So has anyone actually done this before?

Yes, my sister actually did it on opening day. She payed $15 for an opening day special from AAA than upgraded it to a Season Pass that day for I think $20!! She even told them she payed $15 and they smiled and said, "It's opening day! Thanks for stopping by, and see you again the rest of the year!" Than gave her the pass.

So, does it work the rest of the year? I don't know. It might. Can't hurt trying. I know most parks, you must show you ticket stub than they add to that. It could have only been an opening weekend thing though.

Is there any time frame on those coupons, like are they only good if you enter the park after 12 or something like that or can you enter the park as soon as they open and they are good?

Just to let you know, Burger King also has simmilar coupons. They have BOGO good for any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thusday, and they are valid June 3- August 28, 2003. There is also a $10 off coupon valid May 31 - Seprember 1, 2003. Also there is a coupon for a 2 day pass for $49.99 (plus tax) valid May 31 - Seprember 1, 2003

More News:

I just got back from SFWoA with some friends (June 2) and yes, you can upgrade discounted tickets for $25. So if you get a ticket for $29 from some place or coupon, you can get a season pass for $25 more. We had two tickets for $21 and they upgraded them for $25 that's a $46 dollar season pass total, not bad at all.

And there is no time frame for the coupons other than the dates on them. They are good when the park opens until a minute before it closes.

A notice though; commercials are now airing season pass discount is about to run out. I'm assuming when the price goes up (usually around June 15th or so) the upgrade pass will go too...time will tell on that.

Where was that Burger King at? was it in PA or Ohio? I couldn't find one in 2 of the burger kings I stopped at here in pa and if it was in Oh I may try and stop at a burger king at the first rest stop on the Ohio Turnpike.

The Burger King that I stoped at was in Port Clinton Ohio, about 20-30 min from Cedar Point.
