SixFlags New orleans next togo?

Next Togo?! I didn't know SFNO had one in the first place!

Actually for a time the Jazzland developers had a certain Togo stand up that went up for sale as their headliner roller-coaster in place of Mega Zeph... glad they didn't stick to that plan!

It's very likely SFNO will end up with a TOGO coaster actually. Ultra-Twister right down the road on I10 was manufactured by this company.

Actually, spam is any unwanted messages, especially in mass quantities. It's not restricted to just advertising.

You know, I almost fully resisted posting in this thread but I just can't help myself! It started off as a thread about Six Flags New Orleans becoming the next Togo or something stupid into a back and forth discussion about the definition of spam. I don't get it? Someone should change this topic title to "Wasting Coasterbuzz bandwith and clogging up with forums with crap."

Let me ask you this, bigboy. If someone came up to you trying to talk to you with a wad full of chewing tobacco in their mouth, and you weren't able to understand them correctly because they were talking to you with a mouth full of crap, how long would you go before you asked them to spit that crap out and talk?

I get sick of little kids coming in and not even trying to communicate properly. I dont' call out everyone for making spelling mistakes and such, but did you even read his responses? Simple words were spelled wrong, nothing was capitalized. So, since he's being rude to all of us by not taking the time and courtesy to spell correctly, punctuate correctly, and capitalize, I should just accept that and go on, even though the person agreed to take the time to do all 3 when they signed up?

I could care less if it went anywhere. This kid doesn't take the time to be considerate of others, and that is rude. I'm sorry, but that isn't acceptable. He either needs to follow the rules or go to CoostrBuhzz.com, where maybe he can understand other people, and none of us have to put up with it anylonger.

Then he wants the thread closed? I'm not a mod, and I was just joking because of his asking for it to close, but c'mon. He participated in a public forum, got mad because more than enough people had a problem with his posts for very good reasons, then he wants it to be closed? Whatever.

Oh, and to the person that asked, I dont' live alone, and I only have 3 cats :).

Absolutely. Ignore it and let the moderators deal with it like they usually do. But, hey, I think you really taught him a good lesson. I'm sure you scared him off and scared away trolls for good with one single swoop. Congrats.

So, it isn't right for me to say something to him about his obvious mistakes, but it is okay for you to come in and tell me what you think I'm doing wrong?

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and I don't find anything wrong with expecting at least a modicum of readability from posters. If Tekno hadn't said something, I'm sure someone else would have. In fact, if I would have been on the board at the time it went down, I would have. It really isn't that hard to put a little effort into literacy. I mean heck, I've seen people from other countries who aren't native English speakers do a good job. Why can't he?
