A 6-year-old girl was fatally injured while riding Haunted Mine Drop at Glenwood Caverns, according to the Garfield County Coroner's Office. The nature of her injuries has not been released.

Wow, I'm not sure whether this finding makes it easier or harder to deal with. I'd almost honestly rather have some sort of mechanical failure versus this one, as I have to believe this makes it worse for the family and the operator(s).
