Six teens arrested in Six Flags Great America fight

Six teenagers were arrested in connection with a fight that broke out Monday night at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee which resulted in police using pepper spray to disperse the crowd at the park.

Are these teen fights at theme parks more frequent now than years past? Or is it we just get to hear about them more because of social media and drive by media culture?
A lot of chicago area malls and even carnivals/festivals have youth supervision policy's in effect, similiar to most Cedar Fair parks. I'm surprised Great America has made it this long without needing to make a similiar policy.
In the 30+ years I have been going to the park, I have never once seen a fight, and I used to go frequently. Occasionally some have made the news or social media, but I wouldn't say it's ever been a really big problem at the park before.
