Great single rider day at SFGAM yesterday. Arrived at Noon to a mostly full front parking lot and headed to Superman to see that there was only a 30 minute wait but that the single rider line is back for 2016. Wasn't certain if the single rider lines remained this year, but thankfully they have kept them for Superman, Goliath and Batman.
Walked on Superman, Roaring Rapids and Whirligig before some lightning in the area shut down everything for about 45 minutes. The weather passed, the sun came out and the park sprang back to life. Got a 10 minute wait as a single rider just as Goliath reopened, then waited about 20 minutes for X-Flight. Rode in the very back this time and enjoyed this ride on XF much better than what I remember the last time I rode it a few yeas ago.
The building/theming for the new 4D attraction looks great but decided to skip the 45 minute wait and walked on Giant Drop, Orbit and Whizzer before going to the car for my water park things.
Today was the first weekday Hurricane Harbor was open and the crowd was very manageable. Everything was open except Wahoo Racers (the only thing in the ride park that didn't open was King Chaos). The waterpark, as well as the ride park, looked great. The entire park was super clean, lots of fresh paint on things and the landscaping all over the entire park looked good.
Left HH around 5, had a 15 minute wait for Raging Bull and walk-on for Ricochet, then stopped by the Pass Center to upgrade my one day ticket to a season pass for $30. Super fast and easy process there. Only one more visit will pay for it and no more pesky $8 upcharge for the water park.
Had one of the best days in recent years at the park. That $25 parking though! Brutal.
