Ok. I was just reading sixflags.com web-site and I noticed that Superman the escape is still supposely the fastest ride in the world. Now. It's still the tallest but, No longer the fastest. Dondapa is now the fastest clocking in at 106.9 MPH. here is a link. Just thought i would share that information....

Oh. YES... Let's lie to the gp to attract more guest. Yes. That's all it is. It's not there title anymore. Dondapa deserves it. It is indeed rightfully theres. As a man once said " lying gets you no where but, it might get you in trouble". (haha, I dunno who the man is, aka, madeup)

While its not the fastest in the World, it is still the fastest in the US. Six Flags should at least change it to the fastest in the country.

I think this is just another example of the all-around level of professionalism I have come to expect from 6flags.

Six Flags ain't the only ones doing that... PCW (Canada's Wonderland) still lists that...

Minebuster is the "largest wooden in Canada". False! Monstre is a little slower, but is taller and longer...

Top Gun is the only Inverted coaster in Canada... Huh? I didn't know that to PCW, Quebec has already declared independance from Canada (joking!). I guess they must not count that yellow and purple B&M at La Ronde...

One could make a case that the Flip-Flap at Coney was the first looping coaster rather than Revolution. Double Loop beat Shockwave for back to back loops. Plus the Tower of Terror at Dreamland also goes 100mph, right?

Well then, if it's ok to lie to the general public:

I have 20 coasters in my backyard ( a sixty acre site). Anyone who would care to ride these can of course come out to my house, pay me fifty bucks, and then go and find them in my backyard......

S:TE is not the Fastest in the country anymore, The thing never launches to 100 anymore, more around 85-90.

Millennium Force goes faster than S:TE these days. It doesn't matter though, in 2003 S:TE wont have any records for height, speed, or whatever.

Ironically, your name kind ofcorresponds to your viewpoint. Six Flags does it because the general public doesn't care. In the 1950's and sixties, Riverview Park claimed that the fireball went '100 miles an hour'. This is obviously a lie, but the GP didn't care. However, times have changed. I think its sad that we expect this from Six Flags, but it's life, no matter how unfair it is.
