Six Flags World's Of Adventure

Associated parks:
None

Whenever I went here I kept in mind about all the people that said Cedar Point is better than SFWoA, the ride op's don't pay attention, the park is messy. I have one thing to say to those people. You were RIGHT!

Park - 1/5
This park is just downright dirty and disgusting. I think that I saw ONE security guard the whole day. At CP I at least saw 12 in an hour (exageeration). SFWoA has to attract the worst people. These people are rude and ignorrant. Two people cut in front of me in the X-Flight line and said I should of paid attention! The ride op's have to be the worst yet. On S:UE it took 10 minutes to load a train. On X-Flight I can see that but not S:UE. And the bridge is so long to walk form the Wild Rides section to the Wild Life section. Another thing I need to vent is that SFWoA needs more security guards.

RIDES:

X-Flight - 5/5 Laps:1
Unbeleiveable! This ride is awesome! It is definetly worth the wait for your first time. Whenever you flip over there's nothing like it!
A msut ride. This was my favrotie coaster at the park!

Superman Ultimate Escape - 5/5 Laps:2
Another great coaster! The ride op's were stupid for this ride but the ride itself was awesome.:)
The spikes are so neat especailly when they stop you on the back spike.

Batman Knight Flight - 5/5 Laps:5
Another perfect ride! This is also a very good coaster. SFWoA must have put new wheels on this train becuase it is running very smmoth for las year. There is nothing like this ride! You have to ride it!

Villian - 3/5 Laps:1
It isn't that rogh anymore! They must have redone the trains becuase it was pretty smooth! SFWoA must have done something right for this year!

Big Dipper - 1/5 Laps:1
Pain! Pain! And a little mroe pain! That describes this ride. It gives good air time but just throws you around. Ow!

Serial Thriller - 2/5 Laps:1
We rode this at night and it was prety neat. But the bad part was even the lift hill was making my head bang. Ouch! A Steel Phantom as an inverted coaster!:)

Mind Eraser was closed, didn't ride Double Loop, Raging Wolf Bobs, Roadrunner Express.

I wouldn't come here again. Even though the rids are good I will proboally go some where else next year. The Wildlife side was cleaner while Busch owned it. Six Flags really screwed up this park. This was my view of the park like it or not.

"Welcome back Raptor riders. How was your flight?"
Well, stop complaining about the bad parts of this park, they inmprove it over the yrs, and stop comparing it to Cedar Point

LOL, ok so what would you preferred? A helicopter ride back and forth between the two sides to get you there quicker. Give me a break, man.
Gotta agree with the author. I just got back from SFWOA, and I was disappointed. I know that they are trying to get up to speed, but they need to do some work. Horrible workers, expensive prices. These things can be corrected. Rides are one thing, but customer service has to be there for success. CP workers are generally enthusiastic and pleasant. For the record, X was disappointing. Too slow, no big drop, only cool thing was being turned over to face the ground.

Ticket price: $39.00, Wait Time: 2 hours, ride at night on Millenium Force: Priceless
Sorry you had such a terrible time, buddy! But...didn't I warn you against going there while we were in the Raptor queue... ;)

Absolutely agreed upon. This year was my first and LAST ever trip to SFWOA.The only good reason to go is Cheap Season pass prices. Buy your pass then go to SFGadv, where the one day price is the same as the season pass at SFWOA.
big dipper is fine! dont be a spoiled smoothie lover!

And with that line, I should have stopped reading the TR there.

Normally, I don't comment on trip reports but I felt a need to put my $0.02 in here. I was just at SFWoA this past weekend and experienced almost none of what you described.

I found the park to be much cleaner and better run this year than when I was there last year.

We saw numerous security guards and we had no problems with the ride ops. The ops on X-Flight were especially nice.

We had no problem with people being rude or cutting in line.

I will agree that the bridge between the 2 parks is long but you can take the ferry if you don't want to walk.

I will say my only complaint with the park is overcrowding on the ride side. It's very difficult to walk through the midway areas on busy days.

This was my second trip to this park and I was very impressed with the operation this year as opposed to last.

I just don't get it. Why do people keep going to this park!? As you can tell, I didn't like it either.

People get this, SF is not CP, so stop complianing about it.

Some days are bad even at CP.

You people are just finding the bad spots, Sf has diffrent rides and if you don't know what there policy is and how they run there rides. Then why even go. To me this looks like a great park to go to, who cares about the themeing, why spend 2 mill in themeing when they can't compare to Disney and Universal.

And sometimes parks have a hard time employing people to clean the park, if you think the park is so dirty, get a job there and clean it yourself.

It not the park fault that people cant through trash in the bins.

And i see most of the rides without a block brake so they can't run more than 3 trians to speed up. And you said the employees are slow, look at the people who are slowing them down, also they probably think your slow in getting in the trian.

Secrurity wise they may have cameras, and are watching your cars! Cp has it own PD, Six Flags does not, plus i see lots of Security at my home park, SFMM.

Also it depend on they day you go, Weekdays you see the park a bit cleaner, Weekends the park can take a beating.

STOP COMPLIANING GO THERE TO ENJOY THE RIDES
Sorry for not enjoying the park... actually, no I'm not.

If you go to the park without an open mind and you immediatly compare it to Cedar Point, of course you're gonna be disappointed. You've been spoiled by CP's operations and rides, and I agree, compared to SFWoA, CP really is awesome in the operations department.

But of course, SFWoA has it's problems... it's natural. So what if there are a few pieces of trash on the ground? Don't be like the RCT guests and start complaining if someone puked or littered.

The only thing that I think SFWoA could improve on is it's capacity problems.

And don't even get me started on the whole "The boardwalk is too long". Feel free to buy a wheelchair and push yourself along the boardwalk.

It's not Six Flags' fault for the poor layout of the park or the long boardwalk. Geauga Lake was never meant to become a massive amusment park. And the management can't just yank the wildlife side and the wild rides side closer together. Geez people, you expect to much.

However, I think park management needs to not build a new coaster for next year and instead widen midways and fix all the little annoyances the layout has.

They also need to work on getting their staff more awake. When I went, none of them were rude or anything, no problems about that; but they just needed to be more enthusiastic about their jobs.

In case none of you knew, there is a pathway through the woods that connects the two parks, although it isn't any shorter than the boardwalk. It's just in the shade, that's all.

Benjamin Jones | Yet another coaster-craving yuppie
I liked this parks rides but they were a little slow loading on some of them They had one person doing the entire ride by them selves. But the coasters I thought were pretty good. Batman # 1 . and X FLight was unbelieveable. Scared me at night. They need to clean the park more. Bathrooms were a mess by the end of the day. Its ok though i still had fun.
