Six Flags toy Collection

Saturday, June 25, 2005 5:28 AM
I was in Wendys tonight to get a frosty and I saw all kinds of discounts for SFGADV. I also noticed that with ever kids meal there was a free Six Flags Toy.

5 in all

SF Camera,SF Sunglasses,SF Bus,SF Coaster Car, SF Suitcase I think it was. I took a pic of it and will try to get it on line sometime this weekend. Has anyone else seen these? Is it only a Jersey Wendys thing or are other Wendys doing it for their local SF? I though the bus and the coaster car where the neatest.

Dug, don't worry about the pics. Wendy's has it here:

Apparently, it's a national campaign. It will run through July 10. What's really strange though is that my son had gotten the Boardgame one down in Orlando earlier this month -- only it had no Six Flags mention.

So perhaps the toys are national, but only branded as Six Flags within a certain radius of the Six Flags parks.

Cool promotion all the same.

So far I have the sunglasses, even though I can't wear them. ;-)

My sibs got the toys at a Wendy's up here north of Detroit with all of the Six Flags stuff. My favorite part was this game on the bag though. Next time I go to a park, I'll have to be really careful not to misplace my school bus or any other vehicle that I may be carrying.

The bus has a little hole in the back that you look into to see a photo. There's different photos in the busses as well. My kids have one that shows a view of people riding a coaster and another that has Mr. Six. No idea what's up with that.

Went to Wendy's today (without my daughter) and still asked if I could just purchase the Mr. Six bus toy. They didn't have any. :(

Would go good with my recent collection being a Mr. Six mousepad and Mr. Six bobblehead.

Wendy's in Nashville is doing this promotion too. I got the bumper car tonight! I wanted the bus and board game, but they didn't have them. They said another new toy comes out on Monday.

I'm such a sucker for this junk! When the first "Lord of The Rings" movie came out, I hit every Burger King around here to get all the action figures AND the light up goblets. Then back in the 80's, I had to have the Tim Burton "Nightmare Before Christmas" wrist watches from BK. The BK down the street is supposed to give me the huge inflatable Darth Vader on their roof once the Star Wars promotion ends!

Ok, you know you are an enthusiast when you go to Wendy's and get your kids' toy, and ask for the display for the store. (Today was the last day for Six Flag's toys).

I got the bus (one of each image and all the other toys. Here is a pic:

God I am bad! Now I had to hide it away so my kid doesn't rip it up!

Hmmm, now I am wondering if one of my local Wendy's hasn't thrown away their displays. ;-)

Why am I even considering this? :-P

"Um, Miss, if you don't leave soon we will have to call the cops. It's against the law to go through dumpsters". ;-)

I asked one of my local Wendy's for the display and of course they looked at me like I was nuts (as if that's anything new....lol.) They are giving away Charlie and the Chocolate Factory toys now.
