Well, you'd have to live within 300 miles of the park to buy the season pass.
Ummm no. I bought a SFMM pass and live 2,000 miles away

You think that's crazy, I renewed my SFFM pas and I live in IL! It took 5 days to get stickers, but day 3 was a Sunday, and day 4 was Martin Luther King Junior day.

It seems as if the SixFlags Great America website makes you buy 2 seasons passes. Is there a way to only buy one season pass?
Just used our 2002 SFWOA passes that we renewed online at SFMM in California on February 1, 2003. They accepted it with no questions asked. If you renew online or by phone, you do not have to go to the original issuing park to activate it. The placement of the renewal sticker on your old card allows you to use it at any SF park (not separate waterpark).

I do not believe that the 2002 passes expired when your home park closed. Our passes were issued at SFFT which closes at the end of October. We made several trips to SFoT for Holiday in the Park thereafter with no troubles. I even had talked to SFFT before the end of their season to check on this issue and they assured me that SF season passes are good for the whole calender year.
Hmm, SFKK told me otherwise. I guess you could be right, I didn't try to use mine after they closed.
