Six Flags Season Passes

So, my girlfriend and I are thinking of going to California in January, and we were wondering: If we were to purchase a season pass at Six Flags Darien Lake when we go in mid July, would it still be valid in January at SFMM, or do Six Flags' season passes reset January 1?

Thanks!

Last I remembered SF season passes expire on December 31st.
My Magic Mountain pass expires 01/05/06.

If a park is almost operational year round (i.e. SFMM) they should let you use it exactly 1 year. Example...Say You Buy it Feb. 12 2005, it shouldn't expire untill Feb. 12 2006. If season passes were like that, man would that save you even more money

I would imagine that your pass would expire on the last day of your home park's operating season, but I can't say for sure. Might as well call Six Flags (cringe) and find out.

Do whatever you can to avoid actually paying to get into SFMM. ;)

Aaahhh.. Cedar Fair puts the expiration date on the back of their s.p. (well, at least CP does).
And SF puts their expiration date on the front (at least on my SFMM play pass it is) it expires at the end of this year

Cedar Point may, But I hold one at Dorney Park and they do not.

My SFKK pass says:

"Pass is only valid for the time period that the pass is activated."

Umm, no kidding?

LOL!

Kyle Says: Diamondback was a lot of fun! Made his first time at Kings Island worth it all!

SF passes expire on the last day of the year.

CF passes expire in the spring before the next season begins.

Your SF pass from Darien Lake would not be good in January, however a CF pass bought this season would be good at Knott's next January.

Knott's passes expire 1 year after purchase... at least they did a couple years ago. That season, I had a CP pass and my finace had a Knott's pass she bought on July 4th. When we went back the next year in June, she was still able to use her pass.

As for SF passes, the only one I can really comment on is the SFGAm pass, but I would assume the other seasonal parks would be just like this. And as many have said, Jan 1 --> Dec 31.

My SFA pass has a date issued, but not an expiration date. Since it says 2005 season pass, I would guess that it expires on 12/31/05.

LOL...my SFMM pass says it expires on 12/31/05. I've had SF passes issues at *several* different parks (since I'm a drifter)....they ALL expire on 12/31.

CF's, as noted, are oone year from date of issue. My Knott's pass expires 4/12/06.

CF's are good for one year from date of issue?

So if I purchase a CP season pass lets say next month (July) even though it's considered a 2005 pass, I would be able to use it for the 2006 season until the end of June at CP?

Don't jump on me for asking this because it would seem obvious but I find that odd.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

No they all expire on March 31st with the exception of KBF which works as you stated. I think the reason they expire then is because WOF (the first seasonal to open) opens usually the first or second weekend in April.

Paramount's is the same as Six Flags, they expire December 31st.

Cedar Fair's (at least CP's) passes are cool that way.....gives you enough time to attend Solace in March. ;-)
