Six Flags retains ownership of old Sea World Ohio?

Perhaps it's a journalistic boo-boo, but according to this article, the wildlife section of the former SFWoA is still in the hands of Six Flags.

Can anyone clarify this? Seems rather silly, but then again, it IS Six Flags... ;)

Jim

It's a misprint. Six Flags retains the ownership of the animals, but not the exhibits or land.
No, CF even said that the rides on the South Side will be open, and also a new water-ski show will open.

That's gotta be an error. Six Flags does not own the water park nor the wildlife side. They only retained ownership of the animals. Cedar Fair purchased substantially *all* of the assets of the park. It also says at the bottom that Six Flags owns 40 parks. Well, now they own about 31 parks.
.. and the SF employee's there taking care of the animals won't be there long.. *** Edited 4/10/2004 1:26:13 AM UTC by Red Garter Rob***
