I was wondering if anybody here was familiar with how departments are organized at Six Flags parks, and specifically at Six Flags New England.
What I would like to know is if Group Sales is under Park Operations (as in admissions) or under Marketing.

Group Sales would probably fall under Park Operations. Group sales is a type of admission so that would be my guess. But who knows with 6 Flags what it would fall under. I know at my park, Deep River Waterpark, in Crown Point, IN group sales falls under Admissions. *** Edited 4/13/2005 8:32:31 PM UTC by DRMAN2004***

I said I didn't know about 6 flags but that at most other parks it would be under admissions.

At most parks group sales is under the marketing division. Group sales coordinates with admissions, but admissions is under the wing of park operations.
I know this is the case with most Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks. Group Sales is under Marketing because it is a sales representative that deals with the public outside the setting of the park.
Admissions could be placed under numerous departments: revenue, marketing (Guest Service), but it is usually under operations because it deals with the general operations of the park.
