Six Flags Park changes for the year. Are they doing it.

I got out to SFGADV today. I noticed new trash cans with the Six Flags logo on it. I notice a lot of overall differences with Landscape. I can see they are making a difference. I did see in Every Q line a chair for a guard to watch line jumpers. However, I saw no guard. Maybe they just staff them on the weekends. But hopefully full time soon. All in All its coming along slow and steady, slow and steady!

Thanks,
DMC

I guess all ive noticed at SFDL is that Viper has new restraints on one row of the red train, and Mind Eraser has been running two trains more this year, which usually only Viper tends to do.

As for the employees moving slow on X, there's not a whole lot of rushing that can be one on that ride. Normal operation alone takes minutes to dispatch a train. When a train enters the station after a lap, the system as you know works like this.

Station Brakes, Fences Rise, Seats Fall, Riders Exit, Fences Fall, Seats Rise, Train Moves to Loading Platform, Fences Rise, Seats fall, Riders Enter, Check Restraints, Fences Fall, Seats Rise, Double Check Restraints, Dispatch.

I mean, thats a lot of stages to go through, and not a whole lot of rushing you can do. When a train exits every 3-4 minutes on X, it is a good day, for ANY park...i think it was the shortest i ever waited in line for the ride, less than a 1/2 hour.

One Sun. in January a year and a half ago, they were running two trains superbly. Dispatches about every 2.5 minutes. Wait time was around 15 minutes. It's the only day I've ridden it, but I did the whole park +14 laps on X.

Okay apollo, and when you say about 2.5 minutes, what exactly do you mean? Apparently you do not include a 1 minute interval when you say "about" to overlap a 3-3.5 minute dispatch, which would be almost precisely what i posted, because as most of us know, dispatch times vary frequently, especially on X. I think your being a little too nitpicky...the day X runs 2.5 minutes dispatches consistently for a day, is the day 4D's will be cloned.

Lines are almost empty, if not walk on, weekends in January @ MM, which would explain your claim of a deflated 15 minute wait.

I just wanted to say that I was ay SFEG a few weeks ago.I usually go a few times a year so was pleasantly surprised by the line times being fairly quick and by how much cleaner the park was this year than last. The employees were politeand much faster at loading the rides also.I am planning on taking my kids to disneyland next year and am planning on checking out SFMM while we are there so any tips in that area would be greatly appreciated.
SFA hasn't gone through much. I have seen some park staff walking around taking notes when rides break down and stuff (I got stuck on the end of superman for about 10 minutes. The guy was really friendly).

I was at the park 7/12 and Batwing was only running one train when my swim team and I were in line and then during the wait, they started to run 2. Boy did the line go quicker!

but i did hear about that fence in the back parking lot (wherever that is). I will look and see if I see anything on wednesday when I visit the park. Does anyone know where the fence is and where you can see it from. (I'll look at that topic again).
