Six Flags today announced a new park to be opened in the near future somewhere in the midwest. Six Flags spokesman did not say where but said it will be full of original coasters and rides. When asked about the long name, he said he could not think of a name and compiled a few other Six Flags park names to help him. This park is not to be confused with Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags America, the former Six Flags Over Mid-America, nor Six Flags Over [enter state name].
When asked about the highlights of the park, the spokesman said the coasters. There will be lots of coasters, all of which can be found at other parks across the country as clones. One coaster is Superman: The Ultimate Escaping Flight Ride of Steel. This coaster is not to be confused with other Six Flags coasters such as Superman The Escape, Superman Ultimate Escape, Superman Ultimate Flight, Superman Krypton Coaster, nor the 3 Superman Ride of Steel coasters. It will be over 200 feet and red.
Another major coaster is going to be Batman The Dark Escaping Knight Flight The Ride and Robin: the Chiller. Once again, this is not to be confused with other similar named Six Flags coasters, such as Batman the Ride (all 7 or so of them), Batman The Dark Knight, Batman Knight Flight, Batman The Escape, nor Batman and Robin The Chiller. This coaster and is to be a black inverted coaster with 5 inversions, will be 2700 feet long and 105 feet tall.
When asked about so many coasters with virtually the same name, the spokesman said, "Who do you think we are, Busch Gardens? We aren't capable of coming up with any original names to our rides. We are limited to either Superman or Batman names."
Also asked about the new rides being clones of other Six Flags rides, the spokesman said, "Its cheaper and easier to just use the same coaster over and over and over again. I dont care if you come from New Jersey to L.A., you will be able to ride the exact same rides. It reminds you of being home 3000 miles away! Its also cheaper to advertise. We can use 3 commercials for all of our Six Flags parks and no one will notice. As long as we have a red hyper coaster or a black inverted coaster on the TV, that covers all our parks. We also throw in a Batman Stunt Show scene and a kid to show the excitement of our shows!"
The opening date is not yet set for this park.

Wow! Thats so funny. I sense you dislike how SF clones rides and has a batman and superman ride at most of their parks. I think it's an excellent marketing technique. SF parks are known for their Batmans and Supermans...also Looney Tunes. A person in the GP doesn't know there are other coasters that are the same but two states away. They also only visit one maybe two SF parks in their lifetime. Cloning is very benificial from a business standpoint. Plus if the ride is better than average...why not put them all around and let more people experience it.
The names of SF's coasters and rides don't lack creativity(maybe theming but that's entirely different). The S-man and B-man names are what sets SF apart from all other theme/amusement parks. People from the GP love being able to say I rode B:TR or I conquered S:RoS. Remember that enthusiasts are a very very small number of the guests that walk thru a parks gates. They are also the only ones who seem to care so much about cloned rides and repetitive names. Six Flags will continue cloning and continue using the same or similar names whether enthusiasts like it or not. Like I said before it's an excellent business and marketing strategy.
