Cool! I hope it turns out as nice as Goliath.

A small correction here...
Goliath hit 85, until they changed the wheels to a harder material.
It now has a max speed of 88, on average. So this longer clone will probably already be using this wheel system.
This is a dream come true. The only thing holding Goliath back was it's slightly too short length, and about 600+ more feet of track oughta do the trick! WOOHOO the world is going nuts! 2 gigas in 2000, now we already are having a number of insane rides announced in early august! LONG LIVE COASTER MADNESS!

I would like 2 Steel Dragons and a king size MF to go, please.
Oh and can I get a Tonnerre de Zeus!
I just hope its named, colored, and themed differently. Can anybody comment on that?

Oh and can I get a Tonnerre de Zeus cappachino?
Personally, (even though I think SFoT uses "Texas" alot) I thought the TEXAS FIREBALL was a great name. They could use the same orange Goliath track, and have bullet shaped trains where the front car would be white, fading into yellow and orange streaks, with the rest of the train being fire-engine red SWEET!!! I would go just to see that. Heck I've never been to 'oT so I might go anyway =]
This hpyer better not be a name of a already caoster standing. I would like SOMETHING NEW FOR A COASTER AT SIX FLAGS PARKS. I hate when they naem two coaster the same name at Six Flags parks, please let it have a new naem and theme!!!
What A disapointment. I feel bad for all those SFOT thrillseekers. If the coaster ends up being similar to Goliath, I will not plan a trip to Texas. I went to SFMM this past July and GOLIATH was a huge disapointment. I feel that the of all the Hypercoasters I have ridden, that it was my least favorite. Not even a top 10 steel coaster for me. Pray for something unique with steeper banking.

I can't see Goliath being disappointing, but to each his own.
Anyway, I talked to the reporter who did the story, and the wheel details were cut from the stroy, so it makes sense that they would indeed go the same speed.

It was a disapointment in that I was expecting something more impressive that what I got. For a coaster of that magnitude it could be a lot better. First A steeper drop. Second a steeper banked turn after the initial drop. But that is my own opinion. Maybe it is because I have been spoiled by Raging Bull's initial plunge which is major air. I didn't even leave my seat on Goliath. The second half of the ride was great, it is the first half I was disapointed about.

If you didn't leave your seat on Goliath's massive bunny hop, you didn't ride it.
Amen, Simcoaster, Amen! I defy anyone to find a seat that you do not get air on that camelback. I have been THROWN out of my seat from all 4 places that I have sat. (1-1, 2-2, 4-1, 5-2. Don't forget last row on the train is 5-3) I hope the SFOT Giovanola has a series of at least 2, hopefully 3 of those hills in a row. (if SFOT has the room, anyone know?) Also keep the same kind of helix, but add another half circle, WOO HOO! See 'yall in Texas!!

Gotta ride 'em all, 'yall!
I have to agree with the airtime. Best single moment of it on any coaster. Aside from that this new one if like Goliath should not have two or three in a row. This would negate the concept of it being a twister design. How about, hop, turn, hop, 900 helix, hop. This would be mucho bettero. This is cool since I may be goin Texas way next summer. YEE HAW!
LONG LIVE ARROW DYNAMICS!!
Yeah, but where will they put it? i think it's possible they'll tear out Judge Roy scream, there's a crapload of land that thing isn't using out there.

Another hypercoaster. I'm starting to not be phased by these announcements anymore. It could also be because I live on the East Coast. 2000 will be a very hard year to top in my mind.
Six Flags better give this coaster a new name insted of mind eraser or something like that!!
Another hypercoaster? Would you prefer if they just wrap it up and not build anymore? The things people say...
I agree with Mforce, give a new coaster a new original, good name. Like... Vertical Limit or something. i don't know.
And what kind of name is Giovanola?? Is that like Goliath in spanish or something? I say give it a fresh name. back me up Mforce.
