Six Flags Over Texas is almost finished with its new 4-D ride Justice League: Battle for Metropolis and gave a sneak peek to the media Wednesday. The ride, which will be completely in the dark, takes people through the streets of Metropolis, where they will use stun blasters to defeat the villains, park President Steve Martindale said.

It's nice to see some ambition from Six Flags on the dark ride front, particularly with the large sets and animatronics.

It's also nice to see Six Flags actually using the DC Comics IP for its narrative. Sticking a heroes name on a ride is one thing, but actually building a ride around the heroes is a much bigger step in the right direction.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
