Six Flags Over Texas has announced a second major expansion in celebration of the park's 40th anniversary. Joining Titan, the new Giovanola hypercoaster, will be Looney Tunes USA, a brand new children's area based on the popular cartoon characters. The area will feature nine new rides and attractions, including Wile. E. Coyote's Grand Canyon Blaster, a new family coaster.

Has anybody noticed, that despite all of these annoucements the official websites have gone untouched?

World class Web operation. If you hear about something like this, where is the first place you're going to look?

They run their web sites like they run their park operations, so is anyone really that surprised?
Jeff, the first place I would honestly look would be here (or possibly another similar site). Why would I check a website that still (in SFGadv"s case), lists Medusa as the most recent attraction? It's three years old now! What a joke operation these people run. I have a season pass every year (because of convenience only) so don't get me wrong, but SF leaves ALOT to be desired when it comes to getting your moneys worth. They can't come close to Disney of course, but maybe they could strive towards Busch, Cedarfair, or Kennywood (that ownership slips my mind). ANYTHING in way of customer relations would be an improvement.
It's time for more Six Flags bashing. Can't someone just say they're happy that our enthusiast in training are getting some new rides? There, I just did. I didn't think the post was about website design.

If someone has an opinion they want to share, and includes backing statements, I'm fine with that. If you don't agree, you don't agree. Leave the moderation up to us, please.

Jeff, I was disagreeing with the tone of the postings, not telling people how to think. I just like to see people actually talking about the topic. If someone wanted to talk about Six Flags' website updating, wouldn't it have more appropriate to start a forum?
Regardless of this single incident, sixflags.com HAS been keeping up with most of Six Flags parks' news and updates... Plus, what's the big deal if Six Flags adds the same exact press release to their site that can be viewed many other places?
