Shake, Rattle, and Roll is going to be an indoor scrambler with music and fog/effects. I rode one at Conneaut Lake a while back and LOVED it, so I'm pretty pumped for this one.

And the coaster is much longer than I thought, and faster. I wonder if it's a custom?

Joe, looking forward to March 6!

OMG I have a new sig!!!
The Gotham City Crime Wave may be a "new" used swings ride and not the one the park once had. It replaces the Ultrazone building just inside the Gotham City section

Shake Rattle & Roll is an indoor scrambler (probably used) inside the old chevy show building.

Wild E. Coyote Canyon Blaster is in the Spanish fort where there used to be a ball crawl in Bugs Bunny World.

Up, Up & Away and Rockin' Tug are being built on Carousel hill accross the new bridge from Bugs Bunny World.

The scrambler and balloon race are the ones from American Adventures from what I hear. The wave arrived from Los Angeles (supposedly) in 2002 and has been sitting in the parking lot since. The Canyon Blaster's station is to take up the area where the Wiggly Worm was, and go out toward the entrance/exit for Splashwater Falls, which will have to be rerouted. With that and bridge construction, Splash isnt to open till May/June.

Great job Six Flags, as these improvments, including the retun of the Bugs Bunny World Bridge, the parking lot trams, increased capacity, and better food options makes this look to be a great year for families out at the park. Of course we all still have Acrophobia and Deja Vu ;). *** Edited 2/12/2004 9:23:29 PM UTC by Chris the Coaster Freak***

Of course we all still have Acrophobia and Deja Vu ;)

Well..... sometimes :)

From my investigation it appears that the Scrambler is from SFOT (removed for Superman TOP). Never was a scrambler at AA, although this one was probably headed that way originally.

Balloon Race is new, as is the Rockin' Tug, both from Zamperla.

Wave Swinger is from the Japanese park that brought SFNO it's Batman the Ride (ex-Gambit?).

Now, where did the pink Cadillac come from?

Actually gamndbndr, there is a scrambler at AA (http://www.coasterimage.com/amadv/aa19.htm). Glad to hear we are getting new versions, as I originally heard otherwise. It makes sense that the swinger is from Japan, and not Los Angeles, as the op panel is in Japanese ;). *** Edited 2/12/2004 10:22:41 PM UTC by Chris the Coaster Freak***

"On the moon nerds get their pants pulled down and spanked with moonrocks."

My bad - I should have remembered that. But I've been told that the Scrambler was being relocated from another park.

Sorry, been a little distracted lately -

Thats good news, as the one at American Adventures isn't the best one anyway for indoors. It doesn't seem as fast as most, but then again, I could just be not remembering correctly...

The Shake Rattle & Roll scrambler has to be the old Missle Chaser from SFOT or a scrambler from some overseas park. SF dosen't have a spare scrambler ride besides the Missle Chaser.

I guess the old swings ride must be in bad shape, since it is not being put back in the park, as was rumored. *** Edited 2/12/2004 11:24:39 PM UTC by SFZIP***

Are we talking a "real" Wave Swinger, a nice shiny Zierer with all the fancy lights...?

Hard to imagine that any park would remove a Zierer Wave Swinger for any reason, they're the greatest thing at night...

I'm getting more excited about this package, but I sincerely *hope* the park has no max. height on the Jr. Mine Train....or that they'll "give us a pass" during the event...;)

You can buy a used scrambler anywhere from around $20,000 to $100,000, depending on condition. Heck, it may even be a new one!

I was hoping that the rumor of a giant wheel was true.... oh well

No max height from what I hear, but the min height of 36 inches as stated on the press release...

What about SFGAdv's?

Doesn't it seem that the "new" Wave Swinger would be the one removed in just 1999 for the new promenade? If I'm not mistaken, I think the ride is still at the park's land.

Yay! A rockin' tug and a cool scrambler.

I'm satisfied.

First of all, that one wasn't a Wave Swinger. Secondly, that one is in far too bad condition to ever come back. It's the one that was delivered around August 2002.

Ehh, they're all wave swingers to me.

I didn't know it was in awful condition.

w00t. Balloon Race.

Whoa, Deja Vu.
