Six Flags over Georgia 2005 map-something interesting...

Edit: looks like they took it down... *** Edited 1/26/2005 2:10:40 AM UTC by Chris the Coaster Freak***

"On the moon nerds get their pants pulled down and spanked with moonrocks."

Now why would they add a treehouse complex in a spot where there isn't even a waterpark?

Nice find.

Edit: If you click on the photo on the actual page, it shows the 2004 picture. Strange. *** Edited 1/23/2005 12:45:57 AM UTC by thepinkdoomofmonkeys***

Chattanooga needs a ITG2 Machine!
I also find it interesting that they still have a map of SFWoA up.. I'd think they'd want to take that off to avoid any possible ramifications now that CF owns the park

"Life's What You Make It, So Let's Make It Rock!"
I guess since thats the website of the printer of the maps, they can put any of their previous work up. You gotta love all those wonderful companies you can find listed off of IAAPA ;).

thepinkdoomofmonkeys: Well I guess theres a waterpark there now ;) lol

Looks to me like the rumors on Screamscape were true about whats all in there. If you look closely, it looks like theres a volcano thats "erupting" water. That will make for a very nice effect, kinda like the buckets on the various treehouse complexes at parks. The one thing I dont get is the location. Are people really going to wanna walk all the way to the back of the park just to ride some slides? We'll see I guess...

"On the moon nerds get their pants pulled down and spanked with moonrocks."

Isn't the water "section" of CP (with WWL, SRF, etc.) in the back of the park?

"Life's What You Make It, So Let's Make It Rock!"
Thats water rides, we're talking about slide complexes which involve bathing suits. I just dont see too many people lugging their bags with towels and bathing suits all the way back there...

That looks very similar to the water play structure being installed at SFGAms HH this year,Skull Island.http://www.sixflags.com/parks/greatamerica/images/water/low/Waterplay-Structure.jpg *** Edited 1/23/2005 1:06:16 AM UTC by SFGA 11***
CP's allow bathing suits, etc. IIRC there's even signs on the midway towards MF saying "Shirts/Tops & Shoes required in this area". In fact, I think they also have an audible message playing stating as such when people walk by.

Odd. The thumbnail of SFOG shows the water complex but if you click on the thumbnail itself to reveal the larger image there is no water complex, as shown here, and the copyright is 2004.

mOOSH [who just got confirmation via email that it is indeed the 2005 map]

Ya know, maybe I should just PM you what I was going to say here, since this is a *family* site...

Also SFEG seem to be adding a new water slide, it looks to me like a half of ProSlide Tornado, you can see it next to "New for 2005!"

Weird, it looked like they got a half of a proslide. Maybe they only paid for half since SFEG isn't as big?;)
You could call it Halfpipe 2.0 :)

Dave Dragon, go Dave Dragon, and the Star Force Five!

Or ProSlide 0.5;)
