Six Flags over Georgia

Going to SFoG next tuesday and was wondering if Alanta schools are out to see if the park would be crowded. I also wanted to know if the park is busy what are the main rides I should ride when going to this park. will only be at the park one day so I want to know which rides are a must ride when visiting this park.
As for rides, are you aware that Six Flags has a website now?
I know six Flags has a web site I was just wondering which rides you would recomend going on first just in case the park is busy. This will probably be my first and last time to this park ever so I want to make it count.
I think you miss the point. Why don't you check out all the rides on their site...look at pics, read descriptions and see what interests you most. Our personal preferences may differ from yours.

Real Cbuzz quote of the day - "The classes i take in collage are so mor adcanced then u could imagen. Dont talk about my emglihs" - Adamforce
Don't forget about rcdb and the coaster database on this site.

As soon as you get in the park skip Cyclone, the brand-new Goliath and everything else and go all the way back of the park where you'll find Deja Vu. No matter how long the line is, wait. If the ride is closed don't worry...it usually opens soon after park opening. No matter what DO NOT ride anything else unless you ride Deja Vu first.

SFOG is a great park. Have fun! ;)

I dont think theres anything wrong about inquiring as to how to take on SFoG.

First, as previously stated, if you see Deja Vu running at any point in the day, and you havent ridden either of the other two, definitely run and catch it, as being open all day is nearly impossible.

As for the rest of the park, Goliath is a must ride. All the coasters there are at least decent, with the exception of Ninja, which is only subpar. Only ride that after all the others, and
with a little luck, and a common croud at the park, all the coasters and most rides should be attainable throughout an entire day. It is a great park.

Enjoy,

Also, make sure to ride Acrophobia

Thanks for your info. Hopefully Deja Vu will be open for short time so I can go ride it. Also does anyone know if Alanta area schools are out? Thanks

You could have had your answer long ago had you just followed these simple steps.

Step 1. Get on the internet
Step 2. Go to www.google.com
Step 3. Search for "Atlanta School District Schedule"

Don't be so lazy!

My picks -- Mind Bender, Cyclone (look out for that fourth drop!), Great American Sscream Machine, and Goliath. Ride them all in the back seat and try the front if you have time. Also Deja Vu rocks! If you can get on Vu before the line gets long, it will save you alot of pain and suffering. Actually, ALL of the coasters are good there. I even enjoyed Chuck Norris the Ride, aka: Ninja, but brace your self. Don't forget the mine train and even the kiddie coaster is fun.

And then there's the two drop rides including a 1st gen Intamin (yeah baby!), log flume, the floating dark ride (can't remember the name). Try to do it all. You might want to go for the Q-Bot / Flash Pass thingy. Awesome park!

Yer welcome.
Another question, the Skull Island thing at the park is their chairs where you can lay and tan (for my mom) so she wont be so bored.
Don't schools in Georgia usually get out around early May? If so, I'm sure the park is pretty crowded on weekends, and perhaps even during the week.

Don't forget the three German loops on 'bender! (and, apparently, that third loop on Goliath is a killer, too... Gator...)

Me likey Goliath... and I am *not* a big fan of B&M hypers in general...it was THAT good.

...'Bender, that's my ride. Riding alone on the train in the front seat of an Anton at night - it don't get ANY better than that! :)
