Six Flags Orlando?!?

My girlfried works at AAA cooper trucking, and she said that the truckers have been moving such equipment for the new opening of a Six Flags in Orlando. apparently she said they were speaking of it being like Sea world. anyone know is this is fake or not? It sounds fake because I remember reading that Kieran Burke wanted to stay away from such a strong competition area (Disney and Universal). this may also be incorrect. Any info would be great.

I am one.
I am Turbo.

The truckers were probally moving things for another park such as Universal or Disney, and just said Six Flags, meaning theme parks in general. I have heard many people say things like, Six Flags Cedar Point, Or Six Flags Universal Studios, and stupid nonsense like that.

Six Flags Cedar Point?

Wouldn't that be absolutely horrible?! It's a nightmare! I think Six Flags should build a park in PA. How about taking over Conneaut Lake Park?

Like Buller said: They're probably transporting stuff to either DW or US. I doubt any type of SF will ever be in the Orlando area.

IF there was one, I'd like to see how they stay alive with every other thing to do there... I think they are "smart" in that catagory to stay away from anywhere in Florida.

Are you ready to fly in '03 SFGAm??? :)

I am not one who believes a Six Flags (or any other chain park) would fail in Orlando. Back in the early 80's there was the general feeling that you couldn't compete against Disney.

Now there are two thriving Universal Parks, Sea World is holding its own and Disney has added Disney-MGM and Animal Kingdom.

A "thrill park" with multiple coasters (let's remember that there are still only two coasters at IOA) would have a big upside in my opinion.

Six Flags Cedar Point, wow concrete, Morgan hypers, boomerangs and SLC's.

The worst of both chains.

Ah what the hell.....Magnum What?

S:ROS blew me away

You people.. yeah, SF is the death of all amusement parks. Whatever. Cedar Fair cares more about the people. *Rolls eyes* Let me tell you something, Cedar Fair is in the BUSINESS of making money just like everyone else. I'm by no means a SF mark, but don't put CF on some pedestal.

Concrete?? Umm, I've seen a lot at CP. Yes there's concrete at SF parks? I also have taken some really pretty pictures at SF parks where concrete isn't a part of the equation.

Morgan hypers? If you're going to complain, complain about Gio hypers. Morgan hypers, to me, look just like Magnum, which you guys revere. Oh, and PR is a coaster that I'd love to have at SFoG... Morgan... hmm.

Boomerangs and SLCs. Yes, they suck (see my info picture), but there ARE SF parks that don't have one OR either of those. I can see exactly why IF HELL FROZE OVER and SF bought CP why they'd put an SLC. Raptor anyone? Show me a park that has both kinds of inverts.

My point is, don't be such a hyperbolist about SF in general. They bring lots of great stuff to the amusement park world! The RoSs, Floorless coasters, some GREAT wood.. should I go on?

Is it the real yellow or the yellow that they had on the coaster cars??
